We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Boiler Operations & Maintenance Technician to join our team at BWE

Responsibilities

• Start, operate, and shut down boilers following safety procedures.
• Monitor key parameters: pressure, temperature, water levels, combustion, and flow rates.
• Adjust controls to optimize thermal efficiency and energy consumption.
• Record operational data in logs (digital or manual).
• Operate pumps, burners, valves, feedwater systems, and fuel systems.
• Perform surface and bottom blowdowns as required.
• Execute basic preventive maintenance: cleaning, lubrication, filter replacement, minor adjustments.
• Assist specialized technicians with corrective maintenance.
• Report abnormalities and participate in internal/external inspections. 
• Ensure correct functioning of all safety devices.
• Coordinate with production, mechanical, electrical, and utility teams.
• Support operation of auxiliary systems: compressors, vacuum pumps, water treatment, softeners, RO systems.

Requirements:

Education

• Industrial, mechanical, or electromechanical technician.
• Valid Boiler Operator Certification (as per local regulations).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience operating industrial boilers or thermal equipment.
• Experience with steam systems, combustion, and water treatment (preferred).
• Knowledge of combustion, heat transfer, and fuels (gas, diesel, biomass, etc.).
• Ability to read P&IDs, technical manuals, and measurement instruments.
• Basic skills in mechanical and electrical maintenance.

• Ability to respond under pressure or emergency conditions.
• Attention to detail and operational discipline.
